Gordon Ramsey Hunts and Cooks Python
Ramsay and python-hunter Kyle Penniston killed three Burmese pythons, and the always resourceful chef even cooked one on-site using a portable oven, as reported by Food and Wine. While snake hunting might seem like an odd or cruel sport, the Burmese python is considered an invasive species and was only discovered in the Everglades in the 1970s. To help curb their numbers, the South Florida Water Management District has allowed professional python hunters onto government-owned land to hunt the python in an effort to restore the natural ecosystem.
